Beechford is located at the mouth of the Curries River where the river drains into Bass Strait, and can be found by taking the turn-off at Lefroy, on the Georgetown to Bridport Road. Or you can take the more direct route via the gravel road, turning off the East Tamar Highway between Lowhead and Georgetown. Beechord is a very peaceful holiday destination and is ideal for a relaxing getaway weekend or longer beachfront holiday. The beach is ideal for swimming, fishing and walking. There is a camping ground at Beechford and a number of delightful holiday houses.
