Coronet Bay is a quiet holiday village on the Bass Coast about 109 km south east of Melbourne. It features its own private beach, and boat ramp. Barbecues, playground and public toilets are provided at the end of Cutty Sark Road. There is a local store which has most essential items and they sell food liquor and petrol. Coronet Bay is close to the Mornington Peninsula and Gurdies wineries and is just 10 minutes Phillip Island. This is the ideal place to use as a base to explore all the local attractions. The fishing is fantastic and there is excellent surfing at both Kilkunda (10 minutes away) and on Phillip Island (10 minutes with patrolled beaches). Coronet Bay has a small jetty and boat hire is also available. A barge services operates from Corinella to transport passengers, cars and stock to French Island.
