The Maria Island Marine Reserve conserves a range of the marine habitats and is part of the lovely Maria Island National Park. The diving is stunning here, where you can see the reefs of Fossil Bay, the giant kelp forests, large beds of sea-grass beds and a diverse range of marine life. There are a number of shipwrecks around Maria Island.
