The beach at Penneshaw, known as Hog Bay, and is a fine sandy beach suitable for swimming beach and picnics with BBQs available. The local fairy penguins stroll up the beach to their burrows every evening in summer and guided tours are available. Penneshaw is a great place as a base for exploring all the attractions of Kangaroo Island.
