Second Valley - Beach Front Holiday Properties, Holidays and Lifestyles

Listed Below are the best Second Valley - Beach Front Holidays, Holiday Accommodation and Beachfront Properties for Sale, Rent or Lease, that are on the beachfront, waterfront or close to the beach. Second Valley is a very picturesque seaside town with a long jetty, and it is somewhat reminiscent of Greece. Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, near Normanville, it is an excellent base for enjoying all the Peninsula has to offer, including its famous vineyards and wineries. There is excellent fishing from the jetty, rocks or beach, and there is a boat ramp and marina for visitors with boats to fish off-shore. The scenery along the coast is magnificent, with stunning cliffs, rugged headlands and quiet secluded beaches. You can take a day trip via ferry to Kangaroo Island, via the Cape Jervis ferry terminal which is only about 25 km away. There are some very rewarding walking trails in the region including the Heysen Trail. In November 2002, the old HMAS Hobart was scuttled offshore between Normanville and Second Valley, creating and artificial reef for marine life and an interesting dive site. There is a caravan park and many other places to stay on the beachfront at Second Valley.
Enjoy winetours in the Southern Fleurieu Wine Region that includes five districts : Delamere ; Yankalilla ; Mount Compass ; Myponga ; Victor Harbor
